Your Projects 2019: Small Ensuite Refurb in Belfast

This year we want to showcase “your projects” with a regular feature on customer bathrooms. Since the BATHLINE brand launched a year ago we have been working with customers throughout Northern Ireland to design their perfect bathroom, no matter what size! This month, as part of our theme “don’t move, improve”, there is no more suitable project than the Taylor’s small ensuite.

This is a great example of how to transform a very small bathroom space into a room that is functional yet stylish and will add value to the price of your home.

How it all began

Niamh and Stephen from Belfast wanted to revamp their small ensuite.  After visiting a few bathroom showrooms in Belfast, a friend recommended BATHLINE to Niamh, where she set up a free design appointment at the Ladas Drive bathroom showroom.

The Design Process

Bringing along their ensuite dimensions of 2m x 2.1m, Stephen and Niamh met with Norman Massey for their appointment.  “When we arrived at BATHLINE we were greeted by Norman and shown around.  We felt instantly comfortable with his professional and friendly approach.”

Using our 3d CAD technology the design for the Taylor’s ensuite soon took place.

Our Style

“I wanted something modern and I really like the new charcoal trend, so we chose a dark shower try, radiator and sink unit, opting for lighter tiles to maintain a feeling of space. Storage in the ensuite was a must especially as we are tight on space, the drawer under the sink and the incorporation of a shower wall inset maximises what we have available.

Niamh adds “Finding the right mirror was important and Norman pointed me towards the HiB Sphere 60 LED Ambient Mirror which is the perfect size above the sink and provides a lovely soft light in the ensuite.”

The Taylor’s wanted the shower to be completely clutter free, so we incorporated a recessed Aqualla shelf kit into the design. It not only looks great, but it is really easy for your installer to fit.

 

The Result
