Carl and Christine Hamilton BATHLINE Bathroom Case Study

Not many people come with bigger reputations in Northern Ireland than Carl & Christine Frampton.  Whether it’s the hard-hitting, sweat drenching duelling rounds in a boxing ring or the quick witted jabs and laughs on social media.

So when BATHLINE realised we could be of assistance, we were there to help.

How it all began

On twitter of course! Where else?

Christine Frampton asked her followers for recommendations on what were the best Bathroom Showrooms in Northern Ireland. We replied recommending ourselves and a few twitter messages later, Carl and Christine had arranged a date to come to our Bangor Showroom and met with our Bathroom Showroom Manager, Graham Lowry.

Graham showed Carl and Christine around the Bangor Bathroom Showroom and looked at the various product ranges offered by BATHLINE and discussed a range of options for their home.

What was the design brief?

Graham was asked to provide a modern/contemporary design for a main bathroom, a cloakroom and two ensuites, and liaise with the builder on site to ensure an easy delivery and installation process.

How did you select the products and which products were selected?

Christine had a really clear view of what she was after and had some great design ideas of her own! So having gauged an idea of their style and product preferences from the visit to the Bangor bathroom showroom, Graham designed a variety of concepts using Virtual Worlds, our state of the art 3D bathroom design package, to provide a feel of the finished bathrooms.

To provide a modern and contemporary design feel, products from manufacturers including Laufen, Crosswater, Hansgrohe, Adamsez, Drench, Aqualla, Kohler, Flair and Geberit were selected. These catered for the Frampton’s style and functionality needs for the project.

How long did the process take?

After completion of a couple of onsite visits to confirm sizes the designs for each room were finalised with the various products being ordered.

The design and measuring process took between 3 to 4 weeks to finalise with another 3 to 4 weeks taken for delivery and installation by the builder. BATHLINE kept regular contact with the builder to ensure a smooth fitting process and provide peace of mind for all involved.

How were the Framptons to deal with?

Carl and Christine Frampton were a lovely, easy going couple who were really down to earth and a pleasure to deal with. BATHLINE are delighted to be able to help them bring their design ideas to fruition.  We would like to wish them well in their new home.
