Warm earth

Warming design ideas using, natural tones, panelling, copper natural wood, matt and brushed brass.

Warm earth, bringing natural pigments and warmer tones into your home is possible, even in your bathroom. Often viewed as a colder area of the home because of the materials traditionally used, tiles, brassware etc. Why not introduce copper, terracotta, rust, caramel and biscuit tones. Tiles in earthy colours and tactile finishes contrasted with coloured brassware for a contemporary twist and wood finishes for creating a warm and natural mood. Corten Elements bathroom wall panels from the Linda Barker Collection are designed to mimic the rich tones and textures of weathered steel, perfect finish for that earthy feel. This panel pairs beautifully with Clay from the Neutrals Collection and works equally well with black, brass, chrome or copper fittings, don’t be afraid to mix your metals, the tones and texture in the Corten Panel allows us to be a bit more adventurous and soften the industrial look. Why not add colour and actual warmth to your bathroom. The Luxurious Copper/Nickel Boat Bath is available in two sizes – 1500mm and 1700mm.
The BC Designs original Copper Boat Baths are made in the traditional hand crafted manner used for centuries, and therefore there will be gentle undulations and some colour variation in the finish so every bath is unique to you. Please note that the copper finish on the Copper/Nickel Boat bath is available waxed or lacquered (slightly matt) – please specify your preference when ordering.
